As an Account Receivable Manager you will lead a team responsible for global overdue portfolio and partner with an international team of collectors to ensure effective and timely review and resolution of past due Customer accounts while protecting NASDAQ assets, financial interest and reputation. In this role you will take a proactive approach to identify effective solutions on late, delinquent, potentially delinquent accounts that benefit both Customer and the Company. Review, recommend, and follow credit and re-bill processes to successful conclusion. Motivate staff on a daily basis to accomplish goals through productivity, accuracy, and efficiency. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of NASDAQ products and services as well as regulations and compliance issues.


  • Maintain an efficient and highly effective collection process
  • Own production and results of collection staff, including monitoring of all past due accounts to include reporting via multiple software systems such as Excel, Salesforce, Workday ERP and other reporting software
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities and manage all aspects of departmental staffing: hiring, training/developing, productivity, quality and control, planning and delegating work, coaching, performance evaluations, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and solving problems
  • Set departmental goals, establish performance metrics (KPI’s) and monitor production of all personnel by tracking goals on a daily/monthly basis
  • Actively collaborate with NASDAQ business offices to understand business specifics, top debtors and propose solutions to timely handle debt issues
  • Update policies and procedures as well as monitor and track collections trends
  • Manage termination process according to NASDAQ termination policy
  • Interact with the 3rd party Collections agencies to ensure recovery of Company receivables
  • Assist in reducing the delinquency each month


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business administration
  • Prior Management/Leadership experience
  • Experience in Collections department within a financial institution
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills as well as ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs and ability to effectively utilize systems and software programs such as Salesforce, Workday ERP, others
  • Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts to develop solutions
  • Experience working in a time sensitive fast-paced environment at times under pressure, making sound decisions, communicating these decisions to stakeholders as well as internal staff
