Zedge is located in Norway, USA, Finland and is starting up a team in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The Manager, Ad Operations is responsible for leading the programmatic and direct sold revenue for Zedge. This role will oversee optimization of our inventory, header bidding strategies partner management, and revenue reporting and analyses. This role will oversee and educate on industry best practices with latest technologies and ad products to further improve revenue. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical and communication skills; including the ability to interpret performance, draw conclusions and summarize actionable recommendations for A/B testing, and optimization changes. This position is part of the larger Ad Operations and Product team in support of evolving advertising products at Zedge.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of programmatic activities: Management of queue, reporting, data discrepancies. Implement, improve and maintain best operational procedures for the team.
  • Work ongoing with Product, and Tech to test and launch ad products; A/B testing, support QA
  • Work monthly with Finance and Audit teams, identifying improved financial revenue processes between Ad Ops and Finance
  • Manage Partner relationships with all programmatic partners, new partnerships, and monetization product related toolsets
  • Stay abreast of changes to legal, data privacy, ad offerings, and industry trends and changes.
  • Work with Ad Ops and Product to identify optimal flows for Users that will improve Revenue: Predicting whales, predicting user churn, predicting a repeat visitor
  • Identify effective ways to calculate LTV and predict LTV of Users

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the digital publisher environment or an environment that is significantly relevant.
  • 2+ years experience within a programmatic exchanges, RTB, Native, other.
  • 2+ years experience with ad operations to traffic, QA, troubleshoot ad tags/assets and campaign tracking/measurement
  • Good understanding of the advertising technology landscape.
  • Experience interacting directly with advertising clients, sales teams, and playing a hands-on role in helping to find options and solutions.
  • Understanding of ad inventory, trafficking and fulfillment.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry, ad serving technology and behavioral audience targeting.
  • Experience generating strategic partnerships with advertising and media partners.
  • Not afraid to get your hands dirty and do whatever is necessary to get the job done.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills with all levels of leadership and staff
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities, ability to troubleshoot and provide guidance and solutions to day to day business challenges.
  • Strong desire to work in a dynamic and surprisingly entrepreneurial environment.
