Job description:

Are you always looking for improvements and keep challenging status quo? Can’t stand working in an conservative and slow environment ? Do you have experience with Lean Operational Excellence and continuous improvements?

If yes, join us as a consultant to work with Lean/ continuous improvement and operations management in Service Delivery Excellence team, where by working closely with the key roles in the organization drive significant agendas and make a real difference in shaping the future of customer experience.

We are currently looking for operations /process management professionals to join the dedicated Service Delivery Excellence team and work on Operational Excellence projects within the Transaction Services area.

Together with other team members, you will engage, lead, train and mentor others within the organization to develop and implement best practices that will drive improvements in our business.

You will coordinate various Continuous Improvement initiatives and be a role model in driving change, and operations management mindset.

Your location will be in Vilnius office but you might be required to travel periodically to one of Danske Bank offices in Scandinavia.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring the Transaction Services CSD to the next level of process design and service delivery
  • Run improvement initiatives and participate in cross-functional initiatives from scoping to implementation and realizing project objectives
  • Motivate and develop co-workers and establish the working relationships with business areas, suppliers, Steering committee and other relevant stakeholders
  • Provide on-the-job sparring and coaching to Team Leaders and Department Heads, as well as other key staff
  • Design and deliver training to managers on the topics of planning, training, process standardization, problem solving and others
  • Organize and facilitate problem solving sessions, value stream mapping sessions and other workshops

Requirements:

  • Higher degree within economic, finance or similar field
  • You are a process professional who can present a track record of completed successful change projects
  • You bring 1-3 years management consulting experience (or similar role)
  • Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles and methods
  • Coaching and/or mentoring experience in operations management
  • Knowledge of project management disciplines and project team dynamics
  • Experience working in agile set-up is a plus
  • You have a pro-active and analytical mindset
  • Experience in the financial sector is a plus but not a must
  • Excellent written and spoken English
