We are looking for a Product Development Engineer (position and speed sensors) who will be responsible for research and development of automotive position and speed sensors and improving the existing ones to meet and exceed Littelfuse customers’ expectations.

About the job:

  • Lead design development of automotive position and speed sensors
  • Analyse and summarize customer requirements for platform products
  • Develop tasks for simulation, prototyping and testing
  • Prototype, simulate and test designs in cooperation with other departments
  • Accomplish innovative technical solutions in position and speed sensors
  • Manage stakeholders – internal and external

About you:

  • Good at coordinating small teams of engineers
  • University degree in Engineering or Physics
  • At least 2 years of experience in product engineering role or relevant
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong skills using general PC applications (ex. MS Office, data analysis tools)
  • Very good team work and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter and accomplisher
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts
  • Ability to travel up to 10 %

Beneficial skills:

  • Electronic circuit design
  • Magnetism (magnets, Hall, xMR)
  • Knowledge of automotive methods (FMEA, Quality planning, A-Spice etc.)
  • Knowledge of LEAN, Six-Sigma and/or Agile, PMBOK, DoE
