Would you like to work with financial reports in banking industry and understand them from provided requirements down to content and technical data gathering aspects? Now we are looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst willing to learn and grow as a specialist, to join the team of Parent Bank Reporting under Consolidation and Reporting department at SEB Global Services in Vilnius.

About the position

You will be responsible for various month-end closing activities and the preparation of internal/external reports in regulatory and markets area, including financial data maintenance, gathering, reconciliation, quality check, report production and content analysis. You will also contribute by generating ideas for continuous improvements, efficiency and constant change towards simple, easily comprehensible and transparent processes and carrying them out together with other team members.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you need a fair understanding of the balance sheet and profit & loss statements as well as accounting principles to be able to analyze, interpret and comprehend reporting requirements. You will need to creatively and proficiently use data analysis tools and methods, especially in MS Excel environment. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential as it will be used on daily basis. You have at least 2 years’ working experience in finance area and a related academic degree.

We would also appreciate your proactivity, ability to maintain good relationships with stakeholders, client and result orientation, self-motivation, loyalty and positive attitude as well as hunger to learn and make change.
