Our client, a European company that is part of a US-based corporation, is providing a wide range of products and services within the healthcare sector. The internationally leading player ensures that patients receive optimum care – highly efficient and extremely reliable. Now, the company is expanding to Vilnius, Lithuania to establish a new financial operations center.

Job description:

Purpose of the role:

Responsibility for the leadership and management of all General Accounting operations in accordance with performance and quality standards as defined in the relevant service level agreements.


  • Propose new measurements (SLAs, KPIs) for all General Accounting processes to Head of SSC / OM
  • Monitor and manage transition process and related relationship management from Sales lines- / Cross Divisional Company’s Finance & Accounting processes to SSC.
  • Balance customer requirements with efficiency criteria; therefore support to define Key Performance Indicators that mirror qualitative and quantitative targets for all General Accounting processes.
  • Own and manage the budget and forecast for all General Accounting processes.
  • Manage productivity and cost efficiency for all General Accounting processes and implement initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness in the SSC.
  • Ensure and force cross-process performance improvement initiatives with other process supervisors
  • Manage escalations to the Company`s Europe division and dispute resolutions.
  • Manage staffing and development for General Accounting team in collaboration with Human Resources and the General Accounting Team Leads


  • University degree (BSc/MSc) in Economics or Business Administration with major in accounting or equivalent experience
  • Professional certification such as a CPA or a CMA is required
  • Plus 5 years of proven experience and knowledge of finance and accounting processes and process improvements in SSC environment
  • Proven experience in managing staff within General Accounting processes in a complex and international business environment
  • Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
