Company is expanding and now establishing Shared Service Center in Vilnius, Lithuania and is looking for Global Payroll Manager to join its team.

Job description:

As the Global Payroll Manager of our clients Corporation, you will manage all aspects of the international Payroll operations (vendors, systems, processes and integration) with overall responsibility for driving timely, accurate, and compliant payrolls, streamlining processes, providing quality customer service with the newly implemented Global Payroll. You will interface directly with payroll resources while assisting with the coordination and monitoring of global payroll processing in Lithuania, United Kingdom, South Africa, France and Singapore. You will also assist in the development of outsourcing prioritization roadmap and oversee the execution of implementing the Global Payroll solution for existing and new country payrolls in accordance with local country laws and regulations.


• Oversee processing of local Lithuania monthly outsourced payroll for approximately 150 employees Oversee outsourced international payroll processing to assure service delivery excellence, accurate and timely payments, and compliance with reporting requirements.

• Comply with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislations, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.

• Manage and maintain payroll information by defining business requirements and associated system setup, directing the collection, calculation, and entry of foreign tax and payroll data.

• Audit all foreign payroll activities, including the design and or preparation of payroll/compliance reports.

• Identify industry leading practices that can strengthen service delivery (i.e. structure, process, technology) Pro-actively identify opportunities to drive improvements in partnership with all the related functions that are part of the end to end payroll process.

• Manage stakeholder relationships, establish and monitor vendor SLAs and KPIs

• Demonstrate familiarity with Stock, Relocation, Bonus, Expats.

• Ensure accurate recording of Employee RSU and NQSO transactions with all payroll providers. Work with US compensation team to provide necessary tax information to payroll vendors when employees’ RSUs vest or stock options are exercised.

• Maintain knowledge of trends in payroll and reporting compliance; and benchmarks against internal processes to drive change.

• Propose and implement process and system efficiencies to ensure highly accurate, compliant, efficient payroll processing.

• Coordinate with Accounting and Treasury functions to facilitate accurate recording, payment and reconciliation of payroll liabilities and associated general ledger accounts.

• Manage and maintain operational/quality measures, payroll business metrics and associated controls. Develop solid relationships with management and foreign office personnel, facilitating positive employee experiences and ultimately ensuring timely payment and recording of payroll liabilities.

• Participate in system maintenance to execute activities Work closely with other internal departments including Accounting, Accounts Payable, Human Resources (including Compensation, Benefits and HRIS), Legal, Payroll Tax and Treasury and coordinate and monitor external payroll externally and across groups / functions to resolve and coordinate issues, gain needed information

• Access service providers to ensure the Company’s pay policies are aligned, effective and properly administered.


• Minimum of 3 years global payroll experience with at least 5 years of proven responsibility

• Knowledge of local and foreign payroll guidelines and regulatory requirements

• Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills

• Strong knowledge of payroll related technology solutions

• Strong aptitude and proficiency in MS Office products; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Advanced analytical skills required

• Workday HCMS experience is a plus

• Prior experience working with an US Public company is a plus
