In this role, the successful candidate Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading and executing long-term sourcing initiatives and medium-term buying activities of the specific categories across the Baltics, as well as providing optimal, value-added service to internal customers, in line with the agreed strategies and procurement guidelines and in alignment with the Group Spend Procurement Managers, Country procurement manager for PL/BL and/or Indirect Spend Procurement Manager (further – ISPM). Directly reporting to ISPM.


  • Execution of local and/or strategic sourcing tasks for the respective indirect spend category across Baltic countries and support to Regional/Central initiatives;
  • Establishing and managing strong internal customer relationships with the respective stakeholders, in alignment with ISPM, being able to understand and capture the customer needs, manage efficiently the customer expectations and work effectively to combine country and group priorities.
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities that bring innovation, cost efficiencies, optimizing services and quality.
  • Analyzing category data and developing strategies for supplier consolidation and tail management, and eliminating spot-buy.
  • Building supplier relationships that generate long – term value for both CC HBC and the supplier, in alignment with Baltics and Group procurement strategies.
  • Managing contracts and upcoming expirations and planing actions for contract renewal/extension or new sourcing activity.
  • Supporting the introduction of new processes, tools and systems within the procurement team and advising internal customers on procurement methods, processes and application of guidelines.
  • Using available procurement tools and systems (e.g. e-auction tools, contract management system, savings tracking, SAP) for the execution of related procurement activities, master data management and communication to stakeholders.
  • Documenting all sourcing and buying decisions in line with policies and guidelines and obtaining all required approvals/sign off on timely basis.
  • Ensuring and following – up actions regarding compliance and audit.
  • Partnering with relevant Functions and stakeholders to increase efficiency in P2P process.


  • I hold a University Degree (Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Legal or similar).
  • I have at least 2 years of experience working in procurement.
  • I am an organized, action and goal orientated person.
  • I have proven evidence of working in cross-functional teams, ability to influence stakeholders, communicate effectively and find solutions.
  • I am a high performer with a track record of achievements and with a personal drive for continuous self-improvement.
  • I have the ability to constructively challenge opinions and status quo with good negotiation skills.
  • I have planning and time-management skills and the ability to perform and deliver under tight deadlines as well as develop and maintain strong working relations.
  • I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
