Description

Product Owners at TransferGo play a critical role in bringing the customer into the design and building of our products. One of the core propositions of TransferGo is making paying anyone in the world as easy as sending a text. We are looking for an experienced PO to lead our efforts to offer payments everywhere in the world.

The Product Owner for Global Payments plays a critical role in enabling fast payments anywhere in the world. The team will own the end to end experience of enabling new payment corridors which includes partner integration and user experience. This PO will have the opportunity to work with our network partners around the world and help solve some of the more complex payment problems in Fintech.

We have offices in London, Vilnius, Kaunas, Berlin, Warsaw and Istanbul with our product owners working in our Vilnius offices. Travel to London and to meet network partners are arranged as needed.

What can a new product owner expect to do?

  • Work closely with the developers to design implementation approach with new partners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development to ensure the most relevant payment features are delivered.
  • Engage with cross functional stakeholders in operations and compliance to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Engage with our network partners, both fintechs and financial institutions globally.
  • Groom user stories, plan and organise backlog for their delivery squad.
  • Report progress against company metrics and OKRs.
  • Communicate effectively (speaking and writing) to ensure that plans, progress and delivery are clearly understood across the organisation.

What we are trying to hire:

  • A true problem solver – someone that likes the challenge of cracking a tough problem.
  • Proven track record of managing stakeholders and delivering results.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and clearly communicate them.
  • Strong English skills written and spoken is a must.
  • Very organised and detail oriented.
  • Experience with agile product development techniques.
  • 5+ years of business analyst and/or product owner experience.
  • Experience with partner integrations or technical products.
  • Someone that cares about customers as well as their craft.
