Product Owners at TransferGo play a critical role in bringing the customers’ needs into the design and development process of our products. Product owners address challenges for our customers using data insights in combination with business objectives to define clearly-articulated product capabilities targeting specific outcomes.

The Product Owner Growth plays a critical role in driving key business metrics such as new customer acquisition and retention. This work will involve growth experiments in collaboration with a team covering user research, user experience, interface design, software development, performance marketing, onboarding, and conversion rate optimization to continually improve those metrics. This process will bring us closer to our mission to make moving money globally as simple and easy as sending a text.

We have offices in London, Vilnius, Kaunas, Berlin, Warsaw, and Istanbul with most of our product owners working in our Vilnius offices. Travel to London and other locations are arranged as needed.

What can a new product owner expect to do?

  • Take direction from the Director of Product Growth to prioritize product delivery to align with our strategy, roadmap and growth experiments.
  • Inform the design and engineering teams and facilitate product development, enhancements and growth experimentation.
  • Work with data analysts to draw insights from growth experiments and participate in decision making to enhance the products and influence the roadmap.
  • Write and groom epics and user stories.
  • Create clear acceptance criteria.
  • Execute in Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban, or combination thereof.
  • Report progress against company metrics and OKRs.
  • Communicate effectively (speaking and writing) to ensure that plans, progress, and delivery are clearly understood across the organization.

  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and clearly communicate them.
  • Strong English skills written and spoken is a must.
  • Very organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience with agile product development techniques.
  • A data-informed person – high degree of skill and comfort with analysis of data and interpretation.
  • 2+ years of Product Owner experience.
  • Experience with testing (split testing including AB and MVT) and other product testing techniques is a big plus
  • Someone that cares about customers as well as their craft.
