Join us as a Senior Securities Operations Analyst in the European Market Operations and be a part of more than 20 curious and ambitious experts’ team making sure we provide best in class Nasdaq’s Nordic clearing house service. In order to make this possible you will be responsible for conducting securities and cash operations, assist and coordinate our client’s trading and clearing activity and may concentrate on a specific aspect of the business or have responsibility across a number of areas.

Team Focus:

Nasdaq Market Operations team operates central counterparty clearing for commodities and derivative instruments that covers products in equity and index derivatives as well as fixed income on Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and Danish instruments. The team performs a wide range of post trade activities such as collateral management, provides customer support and education, handles cleared trades and positions, cash settlement, margin requirements, default fund contributions and physical settlement of securities as well performs reconciliation and regulatory reporting activities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide trade support and maintain relationships with Clearing House members (desk traders, market makers and other senior middle to back-office stakeholders)
  • Develop and build comprehensive knowledge in derivatives markets products as well as trading/clearing cycle by providing support and ongoing education to clearing house members
  • Work proactively with regulatory reporting deliveries, identify gaps and provide support to second line.
  • Contribute by providing expert knowledge in new business change projects within the broader clearing area, whereby new processes have to be created or established ones improved upon
  • Perform trade handling, system support and ad-hoc tasks from customers and various internal stakeholders

Our expectations: 

  • Degree in Business/Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal English
  • Understanding of different types of securities and how trading and/or clearing and settlement is conducted
  • Experience with EMIR, SFTR reporting and SWIFT is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Nordics securities market and the role of Clearing House

Monthly salary (Gross): 1700 – 2200 Eur, other bonuses apply.
