If you think you are, we are happy to invite you to join our expanding Payment Solutions team in the role of Software Developer.

Your key responsibilities will be software development and maintenance of current systems in the Team’s expertise area.


Team’s expertise area:

Our team is in charge of supporting and bringing innovations into Collections and Direct Debit services provided by the Bank.

Collection Service is a Danske Bank system supporting international invoicing schemes in Nordic countries, Germany, UK and Ireland. Working with e-Invoices, direct debit and paper invoices, Collection Service facilitates the business customer with the possibility to collect payments from private and legal bodies. Collection Service is the favorite choice of the clients having their business distributed internationally as it supports all the available collection standards simplifying the payment collection process.


Our Team:

Our team consist of Software architect, 5 Software engineers, 4 Business Analysts and a Development Manager in Lithuania and looking forward to strengthen mainframe competencies.

We base our working processes on the Agile methodologies, trying to get the best out of them and deliver value to our customers in the most efficient way.


In your daily work you will be one of the core developers in an agile setup mainly designing and coding new solutions, as well as optimizing both the performance and functionality of existing. This will require you to have strong abilities in collaboration and communication with both business analysts and other software engineers.

At least 2 years of experience in developing IT systems, including programming, is required.

  • Willingness to learn and grow on a professional level, working on large software projects and taking end-to-end responsibility for the deliveries
  • Understanding of the testing discipline and its best practices
  • Keen to understand the business domain, identify gaps in requirements, and articulate problems and solutions to business employees
  • Proficient English language skills – spoken and written
  • Experience in banking area, especially payments, is an advantage
  • Experience in applying Agile practices delivering projects is an advantage

Any experience of tools, technologies and processes (as advantage):

  • API/Webservice
  • .Net Core framework
  • SQL and database modelling
  • RabbitMQ
  • Mainframe stack: zOS, CICS, DB2, PL/1 or Cobol
