You will be responsible for leading an Accounting team and supervising a number of staff positions, forecasting staffing needs and allocating resources to ensure a timely completion of work. You will be seen as an accounting partner to the business on various accounting matters and ensure there is an understanding of internal policies & processes. Also, you will be analyzing trends and developing recommendations for business policies and operational efficiencies. You’ll collaborate with auditors during preparation and review of audit material, while also overviewing and approving monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. 


For this role, we require you to have a degree in Finance, Economics or a similar field and have 4-6 years of experience in accounting. You’ll have a good understanding of what impacts financial statements and understand how it links with accounting, tax, treasury, and other parts of business. We need you to have a blend of being analytically minded as well as customer focused. If you have the desire and ability to take a strong leadership role and can influence actions to create real change then this could be the perfect role. Previous experience with Lean methodology would be an advantage.
