YOUR TASKS

In your role in the Business Division Electronics in our new production facility in Kaunas (Lithuania), you will be responsible for one or several material groups for monitoring and ensuring quality in the assigned region as well as supporting the development of standards for the responsible material group(s).

  • You will advise and manage suppliers of the respective material group systematically regarding Q performance and further development.
  • You will evaluate the quality capabilities of suppliers within the context of selecting suppliers based on Hella requirements.
  • You will identify potential improvements at suppliers using the material group knowhow and drive implementation together with the supplier and in agreement with the supervisor including controlling of the implemented measures.
  • You will be involved in the process audits in accordance with current standards and track the suppliers audit action plan.
  • Your tasks will also include support Supplier Quality Assurance Time to Market (SQA-TtM) in the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) phase for new technologies, suppliers, processes in the project teams and at suppliers.
  • You will support the supplier development programs to continuously improve the quality performance of suppliers and furthermore documents.
  • You will also support the evaluating of feasibility studies for critical components.
  • You will support developing of common SQA system and process standards.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or related areas;
  • Several years of experience in quality assurance and production engineering;
  • Very good English skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage;
  • Willingness to travel and ideally experience of working in international project teams;
  • Purposeful and structured work approach;
  • Teamwork skills, an affinity for technology, and communication skills;
  • A highly committed and proactive attitude.
