A person will manage all the logistics activities at the focus factory with the objective of achieving cost and cash flow improvements, delivery reliability and customer satisfaction through the best possible logistics services (value, information) as well as optimizing the processes and the use of given resources. 


• Deployment of SCMA and BU Logistics Strategy;

• Deriving and ensuring the achievement of logistics targets (budget, forecat, cost) according to internal (plant/BU/SCMA) and external customer expectations;

• Initiating and implementing process and productivity improvements in order to secure the set targets;

• Controlling and monitoring actual supplier performance against internal and/or external (Customer) targets;

• Controlling and monitoring actual own delivery performance against internal and/or external (Customer) targets;

• Monitoring and reporting of relevant key performance indicators to stakeholders;

• Budget and Project Controlling; 

• Managing the customer demand planning 18 month forecast;

• Driving the processes of ordering and receiving RAW material (it embodies the issuance of purchase orders or scheduling agreements to the supplier);

• Managing the production planning processes (incl. scheduling and steering);

• Managing the deliver processes including all activities associated with the creation, maintenance and fulfillment of customer orders (it embodies the receipt, validation and creation of customer orders, scheduling order delivery and invoicing the customer);

• Managing the return processes including all activities associated with the reverse flow of goods (RAW, WIP, FIN); 

• Ensuring implementation of Policies, Manuals and Standards according the Continental Automotive regulations;

• Managing logistics processes within new product launches and supplier sourcings and coordinate product change or termination notification;

• Managing Import/Export Requirements;

• Managing Transportation and Service Provider Network; 

• Planning, developing and optimizing the availability and qualification of the necessary logistics man power in order to assure the success of the organization;

• Involvement of SCMA and BU Logistics for related staffing, training and development measures; 

• Managing the shortages, allocations and other critical supply orders delivery situations;

• Assessing particular risks and market opportunities for the progress of business.


• Above 5 years of working experiences in field of logistics, area of planning, procurement, 2 years experiences in Logistic management;

• Bachelor degree (commercial or technical background);

• Project management/Process improvement experience;

• Leadership experience;

• English – advanced;

• Stakeholder / Customer Focus and problem solving orientation;

• Leading change and Coaching & Developing People.
