Team Leader in AML Corporates and Institutions

Do you want to become a leader in an area, which is gaining global significance and prominence among financial institutions as well as regulatory authorities?

We are looking for a collaborative, result oriented professional to become a team leader for existing team of 10-15 employees in AML unit, working with Corporates and Institutions (C&I).

Danske Bank makes every effort to comply with increasing AML regulation requirements. We strive to support the authorities in preventing and uncovering illegal activities. This requires robust systems and dedicated staff trained to detect unusual or suspicious customer behaviour. As a team leader, you will contribute to Danske Bank goals within the AML area.

Role

As a team leader you will have a direct responsibility ensuring a customer friendly, professional, efficient execution of Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) for corporate customers.

This involves collecting, validating and assessing customer information in accordance to various regulatory, risk and compliance policies.

Focus Area:

  • Managing an operations team, you will ensure their timely and high quality investigation of ODD cases’, monitor progress against delivery targets and together with your colleagues contribute to building efficient process
  • Ensuring that our customers get safe, professional and high quality services
  • Driving a customer mindset and professional execution of ODD process
  • Driving change initiatives, taking ownership for motivation and continuous development of your team members and contribute to the overall success of AML C&I area

Area of Expertise:

  • 1-2 years’ leadership experience managing teams in operations, customer service or similar environment (under Expertise section)
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Result oriented, collaborative, positively accepting, supporting and driving changes
  • Think out of the box and have a keen interest in driving deliveries and developing your team
  • You should be able to deliver through personal commitment and behaviour, ensure professional dialog with peers and within your team
  • Strong customer centric approach and motivation to deliver excellent service
  • Higher education degree
  • A fluency in both spoken and written English language is mandatory
