Relocation from Belarus

Relocation for Belarusian citizens

Important notice

From March 11th until April 20th, the Republic of Lithuania declared a state of emergency. As a result, a visa tightening regime for foreigners is in place during this period, resulting in suspension of visa application processes and decisions to issue visas for citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

Getting a visa

Belarusian nationals and their family members need a visa to enter Lithuania and the only way to obtain a national visa valid for six months and enter Lithuania is through our embassies.

The embassy in Minsk is usually experiencing high demand which leads to long waiting times.

Alternatively, you may try to submit an application via the Lithuanian Visa Application Center online.

A faster way to obtain a visa to enter Lithuania is through embassies in other countries: Turkey (Istanbul), Armenia (Yerevan), Russia (Moscow), etc.

Other relocation procedures

For other relocation procedures Belarusian nationals and their family members should follow standard relocation guidelines for no-EU nationals detailed here.
